New Real Techniques Brushes

I'm so behind on my new product postings, but I'm trying to make up for lost time today (and probably for the next week or so!). I know that several of you already know about these new brushes now popping up at Ulta but JUST in case you haven't heard, take a look (click the link below each brush for product details):

(retail: $12.99 on the Ulta website)

NEW Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush
(retail: $9.99 on the Ulta website)

NEW Real Techniques Silicone Eyeliner Brush
(retail: $5.99 on the Ulta website)

Clearly, the new Silcone Eyeliner Brush is the one I'm the most curious about--this brush has a silicone tip (no bristles) and, as I said to Emi of Project Swatch the other day (she posted a close-up of the tip on her Instagram here),  I am absolutely intrigued. This is a must-try for me, and I'll be sure to review it when I get it!

What do you think of these three new brushes from Real Techniques? Do you have your eye on any of them (or all of them)?

  3. The silicone brush seems like it'd be great for gel eyeliners! Usually when I use synthetic bristles to apply my gel liner it's hard to clean off. I'm curious and will probably purchase if it's got good reviews.

  4. Retractable is nice, helps keep them clean and is convenient for travel. The silicone tip eyeliner one intrigues me as well, I look forward to your review!

  9. While at Ulta I noticed that Japonesque (sp?) already has a silicone eyeliner brush, but haven't checked yet to see if there are any reviews for it.

  10. I'll probably try out the retractable kabuki for sure, I think I'll prefer the longer handle on this one over the short kabuki I have from them now.
